Helsingin Ruoholahti All Stars -yhtye yhdistää voimansa Saksan Schwarzwaldin alueelta kotoisin olevan the Upper Rhine Symphonic Youth Wind Bandin kanssa! The Upper Rhine Symphonic Youth Wind Bandin Suomen konserttikiertueeseen on sisältynyt esityksiä Eurajoella, Raumalla ja Turussa, ja Helsingissä näemme kiertueen päätöskonsertin. Molemmat yhtyeet kokoavat jäseniään laajoilta maantieteellisiltä alueilta ja tarjoavat lahjakkaille nuorille muusikoille mahdollisuuksia esittää sinfonisen puhallinorkesterin ohjelmistoa korkeimmalla tasolla.

The Ruoholahti All Stars from Helsinki join the Upper Rhine Symphonic Youth Wind Band from Germany's Black Forest region for the final concert of their Finland Tour to Eurajoki, Rauma, Turku and Helsinki. Both ensembles draw their members from wide geographical areas and provide talented young musicians with opportunities to perform symphonic wind band repertoire at the highest level.

The programme offers a rich variety of styles and colours, from the youthful energy of Alex Halme's Overture for Youth and Grainger's beloved Lincolnshire Posy to Shostakovich's dazzling Festive Overture. Highlights also include Toshio Mashima's lyrical alto saxophone feature Seagull and Sibelius' stirring Finlandia, showcasing the expressive range and versatility of the modern wind orchestra.

The concert reaches its grand finale with both orchestras joining forces for Ferrer Ferran's Peter Pan: A Symphonic Suite. With more than 120 young musicians performing together, this colourful and imaginative work captures the magic, adventure, and unforgettable characters of J. M. Barrie's beloved story.
